Each place has its own weather-relationship with the winter holidays... I grew up in Alaska, so we always expected snow for Christmas, and sometimes some pretty cold weather too. Whereas in the Portland, Oregon area, the outdoor manger scenes are more often dripping with the winter rains than coated with snow. This is my tribute to the best of Christmas in the Northwest.
